ALMOST done!

Saturday task…finish Isaac’s crib bedding! Now…we just have to do the personalized pennant flag that will welcome him over his crib:). Laney and I, however, whipped this out this morning…she was such a big helper handing mommy everything she requested—and even helped pin a few things! Here is the finished product in Isaac’s nursery…yesterday it was a pile of fabric…

And today…it was transformed into his sweet crib bedding…

I spelled his name wrong the first time I monogrammed it! Crazy mommy! I gave him two S’s instead of two A’s! I was sure to put the pattern on the outside and only at the top and bottom of the inside so it’s not too stimulating…and of course the soft polka dots will be more relaxing to snooze too…(that is of course when he’s not snoozing with his mommy!)

I love the soft colors…soothing and sweet…
Now…it just needs Isaac to fill it!

Happy Saturday!

Wow! That is beautiful! Do you take orders?!? You are a very talented woman! Did you use a pattern or make up yourself?

admin - April 24, 2010 - 10:05 pm

Heather…I didn’t use a pattern…I’m crazy like that;). I just eye-balled it and even prayed that it would work and not be a waste of time or fabric! And I praised the Lord when it actually FIT! Indeed, it was a miracle;)

I have to say…the first crib I bought was a fancy one from a baby boutique…this is JUST as well made–if not better!
